​Sending email based on log on SLG1

I have a custom report where batch is updated.. if there is any issue in updating, error message is sent to SLG1.. I want to send this message as an email to user..

How we can achieve this using standard report RSCONN01?

If it's there any other feasible solution for this case.Please share your solution with details..
