How to go forward inital settings SAP IBP starter edition 2005

Hi experts,

I would like to ask anyone familiar with SAP IBP 2005 starter edition about steps or things I need to utilize five applications within SAP IBP(Demand, Inventory, Response and Supply, Sales & Operations, Supply Chain Control Tower), as long as the starter edition and Best Practice support(I am informed the sterter-edition can do less thing than productive IBP version can).

Following things below are what I have done so far.

  1. Purchase IBP 2005 starter edition
  2. Read and understand configuration guide, which is also called “Quick Guide”
  3. Create my account as HCI
  4. Create my account of Administration Council
  5. Create my account as a technical user
  6. Finish all processes of Identity andAccess Management

Now I am able to logon what is called IBP Customer Starter Pack with a business user I created. So, the question is,

in order to be able to use IBP five applications, what needs to be done and what are the procedures or prerequisite to be processed?

As long as I read “quick guide”, I assume following things below should be done but I do not understand the clear and exhaustive whole picture…

  • Download Sample Data and Sample Planning View
  • Install and activate excel add-in for IBP
  • Proceed each steps as shown by prerequisite matrix (building blocks→scope items)
