EKET-TERMN Field in PO

Can someone please help me to understand how EKET-TERMN field is derived in Purchase order. We use SAP AFS version an we observed adding the Goods receipt processing time in delivery date is TERMN in eket table. But I want to understand is this logic consider the plant holiday calendar as well.

Thanks for your response. You explained it very Nicely.

One follow up question.

Discounting the PLant holiday and nonwork days during Avialibilty date calculation is part of standard functionality or we need to do any configuration to activate that functionalty.

Hello manish.tr15

Goods receipt processing time is to accommodate all activities between delivery date and posting of goods receipt e.g. quality inspection, warehouse processing etc.

Goods receipt processing time is calculated in workdays according to the plant calendar. So if holidays are not counted here or in other words goods receipt processing time gets longer if its spans over holidays or weekends.

See the following illustration from SAP Help:

Delivery date is the date when the vendor is expected to deliver. However the goods will not be available immediate on delivery date as you need some time for quality inspection, warehouse activities etc. They are modeled as goods receipt processing time.

You can see the effect of goods receipt processing time in stock/requirements list, MD04 transaction. There is a button there that allows to see your purchases either by delivery date i.e. excluding goods receipt processing time or availability date i.e. including goods receipt processing time.
