Hi,
can I create WBS in S4HANA without the PS module available in my implementation ?
the reason is that I need to create a budgeted WBS then create a PR/PO to purchase capitalized spare then transfer it to AUC
Hi,
It's like creating G/L account without FI 🙂
If you want to capitalize on another CO object, you can use internal order. And, yes, you have to switch the usage of I/O component before creating one 🙂

Hello hobbyist
You need to use PS for WBS Element. If budgeting is the requirement, you can also look at IO as budgeting object rather than WBS, if you do not want to use WBS.

the reason is I want to purchase critical spares - capitalized - under AUC so their value don't appear under inventory but under AUC. then when the time comes to install these spares, we move them to Assets and start the depreciation.
how can I do that ? would you please help with a process flow ?
Hello hobbyist
Your original query was on using WBS for asset procurement. You can use IO as well as a budgeting tool. The below blog should help you set it up
