How to decode data in target system when transferred through Odata

Hi All,

We have requirement to send data from S/4 system to ECC system from ECC back to S/4 system through Odata services by creating CDS views at S/4 HANA. I am new to Odata and would like to know how these data through Odata will be received at ECC and how this can be used by ECC system to further processing.

Please provide your valuable inputs.
