EWM Inventory product specific and movements

Hello,

maybe somedy of you have expirience how it works with product specific inventory and movements. My customer plants to do product specific inventory on PSA, but how it works with consumtion postings? If we not

set movement block during PI creation then could the consumption postings be possible and if we set the block, than all movements for this product will be blocked?
