SAP API Test Console with Client Certificate

0 Kudos

Hi,

I have an SAP API with client certification

When I am trying to test it from SAP API Test console, but getting following error.

{"error":{"code":"08d9a9f4-15e8-47ab-b3d5-d7cb3d2cbb67","message":"The controller for path '/RestApi/v1/Authentication/XXXXXXX' was not found or does not implement IController. Error ID: [08d9a9f4-15e8-47ab-b3d5-d7cb3d2cbb67]"}}

I am not able to attach Client certificate(cert file) in SAP API certificates. Iam getting error "Not a valid file type. Valid file types are .PEM or .DER"

Can you please help me to test SAP API with client certificate from API Console?

Thanks and Regards,

Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,

If you are referring to using Client Certificates for 2-way TLS, this currently is not supported in the in-built SAP API Management test console. The self-service certificates section you are referring to in the API Portal under the configure section is for certificates that API Management would pass to a backend system to allow connectivity from the service. In order to import a client-certificate you will need to open a ticket with the component OPU-API-OD-OPS and provide the required certificate details there.
