Dears, Hope you are all good.

I am 28, and I am about to change to SAP I'm working now as HCM Application consultant with many projects for international companies at one of the biggest software development in MENA, and to be honest with you I'm a bit confused and I do not know with whom i have to start, I tend to SAP SF but I do not if it will be a good decision!!!

So I would like your assistance and your recommendation especially for job opportunities?!

and I have another question, I have start my MBA and I'm asking who in the field of SAP if it will be a great step to completely understanding the business of Human Resources and also if it would be an asset?

Thanks in advance

Why are you looking to change to SAP since you are already a "consultant" with MANY projects? As a "newbie" with the current market conditions it will be VERY VERY challenging to get a consulting role (nor will you have any skills to be a SAP or SF consultant either) but if you are going to do anything it should be official certification through SAP/SF but know that you will competing with 7-8K others that have certification and looking for their first job/experience.

I do completely agree with you about the part of competing even far of SAP.

Why would I want to change? Firstly, SAP is a global system with a high reputation even if SAP lacks some advantages "in HR field" for the MENA region, soon or later, I am quite sure that they will deal with their lack, Secondly I want to be part of a global system and after reviewing And studying other ERPs, I discovered that SAP suits me a lot as I actually worked in the company as a SAP FI consultant, but I always tend to human resources, so I think the experience already gained in implementing projects and human resources business will help me a lot in competition for a chance in SAP / SF especially since the system has not yet expanded significantly in our area

at last i would like to thank you Mr. jarret.pazahanick for your clarification

I would suggest to do SAP FI certification, since you have experience in FI. As mentioned by Pazahanic, you may have to compete as a fresher in consultants market. I feel, there is also a good demand for FICO resource at middle east region.
