Deriving a characteristics at BEX Report level

Dear Experts,

We'd a certain Requirement - Where a characteristic is to be derived based on Key figures & Character

Scenario is as like below.

In the below mentioned cross tab "Character to be Derived " column to be derived based on below mentioned condition

a. if Reaso = # & Order Qty = Invoice qty then Character to be derived as 'Y' else #

OrderNo OrderItem Reaso Charactertobederived OrderQty InvoiceQty

O1 10 X X 10 0

O1 20 # # 10 5

O2 10 # Y 10 10

You can use BADi RSROA_OLAP_BADI for creating virtual characteristics with your logic :

This BADI is Working fine..

It's working on Composite Providers also - Cool Feature.

I'd applied that logic also at BADI Level only...

But how to use on the below is ??

Moreover, Does it work only Key figures or CKF also can be utilized in the calculations.

This BADI Will work only on Info Cube or does it work on Composite Providers also.
