Default storage type in LB11

Hi Wm expert,

I’m trying to do LB11 creating transfer order for GR posting 101, and I found out that the destination storage type was assigned to 001 by default, how can I change it?

    Hello Allen Qiu

Destination storage type is determined by storage type search strategy. It's customized at: Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Strategies -> Activate Storage Type Search

    Best regards

storage type was assigned to 001 by default, how can I change it? - Check your configuraiton. There are two possibility

    1) Default storage type is assigned in configuration for movement type 101

    2) Storage type search as mentioned by Dominik Tylczynski in earlier response

If you want to change this then during Transfer order creation, use Foreground button and enter the destination storage type / Storage bin manually.

    • That's a good input. Still I'd not encourage 1st option for stock placement movement types like 101. Here destination storage type should be determined by storage type search settings. Otherwise you are going to loose much of stock placement strategy flexibility.
