Open SAP Crystal Report Viewer on a MacBook or Windows

I'm trying to convert Crystal Report 2013 into SQL statements. In order to accomplish this, I found out that I need to install SAP Crystal Report Viewer. I installed SAP Crystal Report Viewer 2016 on my MacBook, I gave all the permissions (added to the applications, allow access in privacy settings) but when I'm trying to run it, nothing happens. I also tried to install the 2008 with the same result.

I also tried to install it on a Windows 10 machine (using VirtualBox), I got an error saying JVM terminated exit code -1. I than looked online and tried the following steps:

1) I installed Java 32 bit and 64 bit

2) I added both paths (of java 32 and 64 bit) to environment $PATH

3) I also found a thread that I need to add flags to increase the memory while opening SAP Crystal Report Viewer

Unfortunately I'm still getting the same error.
