Dear experts,
I need to create a report in SMC that connects email campaign performance with the interactions (such as clicking a link in an email) that resulted from those email-campaigns.
When I want to display interactions through a report. the columns are always empty:

The campaign resulted in interactions, though:

Can anybody please point me towards the mistake I'm apparently doing?
Thanks in advance,
BR
Nils
Hi n.walter. Thank you for the explanation. From your screenshot I see you need multiple views of the same data.
Some comments:
Regarding to SAP Analytics Cloud, I'm not very familiar with that, but you could build a Custom CDS View to consume the data from SAC and build your custom reports there. Here you have the documentation of "Create the Live Data Connection to SAP Marketing Cloud".
Let me know if you need more help 🙂 Regards,

Hi bruno.gonzalez,
I had the same thought process as you regarding points 1, 2 and 3.
Thanks for you help!

Hi n.walter,
Was bruno.gonzalez's help sufficient. Were you able to get to your result? If not Can you please explain how you created your data source?
Thanks

Hi n.walter! Which report are you using? I recommend you to use the "Campaign Success for Messages" operational report from the Analytics and Report Gallery app. There you can drag and drop the interaction type and use it as rows for the "group by" operation in the pivot table.
Here you have a screenshot that can help you:

I used a custom query with C_MKT_CAMPAIGNSUCCESSQ as the data source. Using the normal report through Analytics and Report Gallery I didn't encounter any technical problems like I did with my custom query, thank you. Is there a way to display the "measures" as cummulated values?

Hi n.walter. If I understand what you meant correctly, yes, it always shows you the aggregated values. Maybe you want to see those values by interaction type. For that, I recommend you to take the row of "Kampagnen-ID" out of the filters.
Let me know if that helped 🙂

Hi bruno.gonzalez, I am in need of a table using the absolute values as shown in my edited screenshot here: 1825763-2020-07-10-14-23-16-window.png
From what I've heard now, depiction of the data like in my edited screenshot is not possible through embedded analytics, because the values always get "split" because of the mandatory measures. Can you confirm this?
Hi n.walter. I don't really understand what you're looking for. The aggregated metrics take the rows for the grouping, so if you want less levels of aggregation, just take out the rows that you're not interested in.
If you're looking to sum the different measures, I don't know what is the scenario you're looking for, because summing the number of clicks and opens doesn't make sense. I suppose that is not what you're looking for.
If you can send a screenshot of a spreadsheet with the current state of the report and the desired one, I can help 🙂
Regards,
Hi bruno.gonzalez,
I am looking for a report that basically looks like this:
2020-07-14-14-06-20-mappe1-excel.png
This is what I mean by "cummulated values". Is it the case that I have to build 2 reports (one for the general information and one for the interactions) in SMC and unite them in SAP Analytics Cloud? Hope you understand my problem now. Thanks for helping, btw.
BR from Bavaria,
Nils
