SAP HANA SPS05 Express release?

Now that SAP HANA SPS05 has been released to customers, is there an estimated release date for the SAP HANA Express edition?

Hi Henrik - we're expecting that the next Hana Express (HXE) release will be built off the first HANA SP05 revision due later this summer. Once the HANA SP05 revision is released, then I would expect an "SP05-based version" of HXE to follow approximately 6-8 weeks later (so likely Fall timeframe). Hope that helps.

in todays webcast covering the news of the already released SPS05 this question was coming up.

Q1: Is HANA 2.5 available for HANA Express?

A2: Will most likely be in September with release 51

Q2: Is there any overview of what changed in HEX?

A2: No published yet

Good news! I can see the download is available in the SAP HANA Express Edition Download Manager.

Current Version is : 2.00.054.00
