Have anyone ever seen a standard solution to link the notifications raised after a PM work order?
After performing a PM work order (e.g. inspection activity) it could be necessary to issue one or more malfunction notifications for later planning and scheduling as a corrective work order(s). Is it possible to track which PM WO originated the malfunction notifications?
Note that the idea is not to use the common link between the WO and notification, because these new notifications should originate the corrective WOs.
Hi, Peter!
Just to close this loop, I'd like to share what we did. Our maintenance plans are generating the order together with an activity report notification. Then, if we have any findings, we added a action box to create a malfunction notification with reference to the activity report. Therefore, it's possible to monitor if the maintenance plan is effective.
Thanks for your suggestions.

There are two options I can think of:
Both of the above could then be added to the document flow and/or IW28 reports via additional development.
Talk to your ABAP Team who should be able to help.

Have you looked at linking a notification to the operation (see operation General tab)?
