SD pricing, subtotal with alternative calculation

Hi Folks,

I have a unique pricing requirement that I am working on. I have a subtotal in the pricing procedure, that needs to be calculated but then, if it's too low, adjusted upward. Any thoughts on how I might try to do this? I can't figure out how to have a pricing procedure subtotal also have other conditional calculations.

Thanks, Curt

It is possible that, because you did not share many details on the calculation, I do not understand what is the problem that you face.

It is not uncommon to use routines in subtotals, the process is similar to what you do for routines assigned to pricing conditions in V/08. You prepare a specification, a few test cases and ask your developer to create the routine. Then you assign the routine in the procedure and test.

Writing conditional statements in VOFM routines is done just like in other ABAP programs (if...else... endif.). One example from standard systems is FV64A013.

Of course, if you prefer, you can create a FM where you perform checks or calculations and then call it in the routine, but for simple cases if you do not wish to reuse the logic, this is probably an overkill. Still, you can take a look at FV64A140 for some ideas.
