TRANSFER STOCK SEGMENT TO STOCK SEGMENT

My customer want to GR amount of quantity into initial stock, and then allocate it into each stock segment

I have tried to allocate quantity in one stock segment to another stock segment by using transfer posting but it doesn't work.
If there is anyway or logic to resolve this problem?

Hi Dieu,

yes, segment is another important character for batch and one batch can not have two segment. In that case you have to also put another batch to transfer stock in another segment.

Yes i understand that, but the system doesn't allow me to change the batch in another stock segment while doing transfer posting.

Would you please show me the successful result with transfer posting?

Not sure what the issue you are facing exactly but you can transfer stock one segment to another segment with 309 movement type. If possible please share screenshot of error.

Transfer posting with mvt 309, 311 and 305...I've changed the Batch Trfr Pstg of stock segment 002, but it still keep the value of stock segment 001.

Whatever i do, the system still calls the Error : Batch exists with stock segment (Message no. SGT_01820)

Hello Philip, try to check if anyone enable some enhancements for mvt or batch. In my case, I turned off the enhancement by mb_migo_badi.

But were you able to stock transfer material with same batch with different stock segment ?

Material A --> batch A --> stock segment A to Material A --> Batch A --> Stock segment B

If i to have to do any specific set up or configuration? Because whenever i transfer posting the system doesn't allow me to enter different batch in receiving stock segment.
