Value Mapping for a new field in MDG

Hello All,

After a deep search and after reading through different blog/posts, I still could not find answer to following question.

When I do Value Mapping for Pre-defined standard fields it works fine and I can see data changed as per value mapping in IDOC.

But if I add a new field (in this case KTOKD - Customer Account group) I cannot see it being referenced, that is value mapping is not working.

I also wrote Z*CODE_LIST_CLASS and its getting data in Value mapping as F4, but data is not getting converted in IDOC. Is there any other enhancement that is need to support this development?

Any inputs or reference highly appreciated.

Hello All,

I am still not able to get completely the point . However, I would ask you to check if you have enabled the check boxes outbound and inbound in the below screen shot.

Can you elaborate if this setting doesn't solve your issue?

I believe one option would be to code the value mapping in BAdI IDOC_DATA_MAPPER
