SAP CRM - Cloud Connector - CPI XI sender adapter

The client requirement is to use Cloud connector for Sender Proxy from CRM system :

Can we use XI Sender adapter to connect with Cloud connector ?

The scenario is CRM system to send request via proxy XI sender adapter and receive the Response .

Please help me to confirm if i can use XI sender adapter to connect with Cloud Connector ?

Hello Amarnath,

Cloud Connector can be used only with receiver adapter.Below will give more details to you( also go through the comments where mandy.krimmel already answered many questions similar to yours).

Dear Sriprasad ,

Many thanks for your response . I will let know the customers that Cloud connector cant be used for XI sender adapter scenarios.
As I am new to CPI please guide me to build the architecture for the below scenario and how to get XSD or WSDL structure from the REST API service .

SAP CRM -> CPI -> REST API (Synchronous)

CRM -> CPI : I have proposed to use XI sender adapter to connect with CPI - Please confirm how the synchronous proxy structure should be created and how can we import the WSDL in CPI for the Proxy created in CRM system .

CPI -> REST API : I have proposed to use HTTP POST adapter to connect with the REST API - Please guide us how can i handle the XML structure pushed from CRM system to be converted to JSON and how could i convert the JSON sample into XSD or WSDL schema to be used in case of any mapping .

Hello Amar,

As per my understanding you can leverage SOAMANAGER to expose CRM data as webservice and consume the same in SAP CPI.

From SAP CPI I would suggest you to browse our community on XML To JSON Converter and JSON To XML converters which might fit into your requirement.
