Contact Person General Data Fields in Relationsip not editable-S/4 Hana BP

Hi All,

Issue is the fields in Contact person general data are greyed out. Can anyone please let me know the solution to make these fields editable.

1. Create Person with Role "Contact Person"

2. Create New BP and Assign the Contact person created in step1 under "Relationship" "Has Contact Person"

3. Fields like Function, Department, VIP, Address etc., are greyed out in edit mode.

Did you ever find a solution to this issue? We are also finding these fields are not available for edit for CP's belonging to a Business Partner with the BP Category "PERSON".

Yes, i selected the Contact person and Clicked on Edit, But it goes to change mode/uneditable view.

Is there any configuration behind this you are aware of ?

Please take a look at SPRO under:
SAP Business Partner → Business Partner Relationships → Basic Settings → Field Groupings → Configure Field Attributes for Each BP Relationship Category
