Hi Thewin,

Also make sure you set the NW connection to "Bridged" not "NAT".

  1. For VBox, there is more information here: FAQs

PS - always check the FAQs before you post ;-). Thanks.

Hi juile

Thank You

It works!

I have an additional Question.

1. Is It possible to let other computers to connect over the internet?
2. Do both SAP NW AS ABAP 7.52 SP04 On-Premise and HANA Express 2.0 On-Premise have Expiration date?
3. When I connect to a Wi-Fi that have to login on a web bowers, my OS on my VM cannot get the IP address using "Bridged". Do you have a way to solve this?

Hi Thewin,

2. "Do both SAP NW AS ABAP 7.52 SP04 On-Premise and HANA Express 2.0 On-Premise have Expiration date?"

AS ABAP 7.52 SP04 does not have a fixed expiry date. However, at some point, if we have released one or more newer versions, we may have to stop supporting it in any way. Also, at some point, the ASE license will expire, which will make it impossible to run AS ABAP.

I cannot answer for HXE 2.0.

3. ...is beyond the scope of this forum.

Hello Thewin,

If they have SAP GUI for Windows installed in their computers, they only need to add a new system and provide the minimum required information to reach it:
- application server FQDN
- instance number
- system ID

Kind regards,
Cris

Hello Cris

Thank you.
How to find or configure application server FQDN?

Kind regards,
Thewin

Hello Thewin,

It is the fully qualified domain name of the server: servername.domainname.suffix, like www.something.com or myapplicationserver.mycompanyname.com.

You can find more information in SAP Note 611361.

Regards,

Cris
