SD movements plugged with MM documents (Return from Store) - Technical impact estimation

saplogon-cgitqk2bib.pngHello,

Due to some needs and constraint in our company, a Return from Store process has been set up with the following specifications :

Stock Transfer Order :
STO with 'Return' flag ticked at item level.

Delivery :
Type copied from : NCR, item category NCRN for intercompany
Type copied from : NLR, item category NLRN for Intracompany

Movement types (via schedules lines customizing VOV5/VOV6/VOV7) :
653 for standard stock
655 for safety stock
657 for bloqued stock

The process goes as is :

- STO then delivery are created.
- Delivery is packed with correct Handling Unit from then delivered to our decentralized warehouse management system (EWM).
- ODO is received in WMS, products are put back in stock properly according to their status.
- Stock movements (653/655/657) are integrated in our ERP properly, billing is done properly.
- Stock Transfer Order 'Delivery complete' is not ticked.
- Purchase Order History tab does not contains GR informations (althouth they are available and correct in document flow).

At the end of the flow, everything is fine (billing, stock movements, stock status) but the flow is not closed.

Plant Return and Store Return with Stock Transport Order is not used because of constraints brought by bloqued/safety stock being returned by stores.

I am trying to figure out the impacts of having such movements types (SD) linked to MM documents (STO), wheter it is on stock calculations later, or financial audit.

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards
