Pipeline Material in BOM & Back flushing in REM (MF42N)

Hi Expererts,

Water is our pipeline materials which required to be consumed along with back flushing activity using MF42N Transaction, unfortunately we are not able to see pipeline material during Back flusing, rest other materials are displayed in consumption table display except Pipeline material.

We have made following settings to incorporate Pipeline material consumption

1. Pipeline material 'Water" created under customized material type ZPIPE
2. Pipeline material type (OMS2) activated with Qty update, Value update & Pipeline allowed indicators.
3. Item Category indicator 'N' - Non stock chosen for the component 'water' in BOM
4. Info record created for Pipeline Material using Info category 'Pipeline'
5. Source list created for Pipeline material

When we are trying Backflusing using MF42N, Pipeline material is not appearing.

We are not able to understand where are we missing.

Please change the Item Category 'N' to 'L' in the BOM.

Backflushing materials shouldn't have the indicator 'N'.
