Hi community,

the use case I'm looking for is to be able to enter comments or descriptions of dimension members in the story page as we can already do with the table comment column on measures, do you know if it is currently possible or planned in the SAC roadmap to implement this functionality?

For some reason master data adjustment is only available when using bpc embedded live connection in SAC. SAC native planning is behind... but if you know coding, its coming in application designer in Q3 see here:

If I understand you correctly, you really want to edit a dimension member description or property in the table widget of story, right? So, you would like to give end user rights to maintain dimension in story. Is that the case?

Hi william thanks for your quick response.

Yes that's the idea, the end user should be able to enter or overwrite dimension member descriptions (e.g. characteristics of a specific product belonging to the product dimension) or enter properties of the dimension member. Is it possible to do it from the story page?

No, that's not possible for now. Only thing you can do today is directly embedding a modeler view into story, but that's too much for you case.

Maybe you can also explore a bit with Analytics Designer.
