Materials in stock / handling unit / packinging

Hello!

Two scenarious which I am trying to solve / find good solution for daily business.

1. scenario

I am looking for a solution to handle materials which are packed into multiple pallets. I would like to see pallets separately in stock, create stock movement (STO) between plants, storage locations enc. Also move pallets to blocked stock, inquality insp enc.

These pallets should be connected to material, not with any material. If material is 700602, then also pallets should be connected to this article.

Process in our company looks like this:

Customer orders material A. Then production produces material A which is packed into 4 different pallents. There is made one production order for material A, material A has production bom.

Next step should be GR for Prod.order.

Pallets will be booked into stock (all 4 pallets which are connected to material A).

So material A has 4 pallets:

1/4; 2/4;3/4; 4/4

All these packages must be shown in stock report.

After goods have been produced, deliveries will be made. In deliveries customer receives material A and in addition customer can also see that this material consists of 4 pallets. Sales price will be maintained in Material A level.

After PGI all 4 pallets will be removed from stock.

Material A has batch management activated.

Pallets must have characterics in order to plan logistics. Length x Width x Height, Weight plus some more (material quality, production date, fsc/pfc indicator) enc.

2. scenario

For claim handling customers order semi-finished products which are mostly in stock. If not then these products will be produced. We would like to order semi-finished products directly from sales order (line items) and then the requirement should go to production packing station. All materials which were added to sales order must be packed and booked into stock, so logistic department can send goods out.

This package (which contains different semi-finished products) should have also different characterics like mentioned before with finished products. Pallets must have characterics in order to plan logistics. Length x Width x Height, Weight plus some more (material quality, production date, fsc/pfc indicator) enc.

One additional thing - there are two different production time for packing, one for claims and one for extra order. So claims should be packed asap and extra order in 3 weeks. How to handle this situation?

If semi-finished products are packed into one pallet, label should be printer out with data from sales order.

Thanks for the help.
