Hi,
in WoC Information Lifecycle Management, view Business Partners, is it possible to delete personal data of business partners like address etc. even if there are no deletable documents? If not, how does that comply with GDPR?
Kind regards
Andrea
Dear Andrea,
The Personal data of a business partner are present in a document called "Business Partner". On clicking "View and Delete Disclosed Data". Please select the from the dropdown "All Documents" instead of "All Deletable Documents". You can find documents in the list which are not yet deletable.
There are two kinds of documents - transactional documents and master data related documents. The master data related data would come under the "business Partner" document type and are marked as deletable only when the transactional documents are deleted. The configuration for transactional documents can be done in business configuration activity : Business Document Deletion – Retention Periods for Business Documents.
Thanks,
Akanksha
