Hello,

Whenever i am making a report in BO by taking a object from a table a query prompt has been automatically generated as @Variable('BOUSER'). For what reason @Variable('BOUSER') is used for?

Hi @amritava_maji,

another user might have access to those fields and tables which are used in those objects in data security profile in universe.

you can ask BO admin to assign your user to those objects.

Generally system function @Variable will be used in security implementation.

looks like the objects are having security rules where you are seeing @Variable.

Thanks for the information.

How does this security work. I am asking this because in a report i am not able to see the data whereas one another user can see the data in the same report. How come is this possible? Any solution for this?
