Hi,

for loading data to BW you use <i>PowerConnect for SAP BW</i> which does not require any transports to BW.

From the 'Warehouse Designer'-Window (Target-Designer in PowerCenter 8.1) try the menu Targets/Import from SAP BW.

You just need to have your saprfc.ini configured correctly.

Z_PM_RFC_CHECK_VERSION is called when you use <i>PowerConnect for SAP R/3</i> to extract data from any SAP module.

Michael

Hi,

This would appear to be an issue with Informatica. The function module they are calling does not exist and I would expect that you could find a SAP delivered function module starting with Z*. Have you tried Informatica support? They may have extra code/objects for you to import to use their solution (if they don't use the strandard BAPIs).

Cheers,

Mike.

It looks like you have not imported the Informatica transport that does the Version check.

Transports for SAP R/3 Version 4.6C and non-Unicode Versions 4.7 and Higher, SS4K900224 for Development, SS4K900222 for Production.

Sometimes you just have to reimport these transports.

Don't forget to give points if this answer is usefull.

Thanks,

Gus

Hai Gus,

Thanks for the reply. We don't have any problem with R/3. Its working fine. Does this "Transports for SAP R/3 Version 4.6C ..." has anything to do with BW?

I am sorry but I don't know if you are talking about BW and Informatica link.

Thanks any way for taking time and interest.
