PO Owner Field

Can anyone help me with the PO Owner field.

I would like to understand the below questions.

1) What is the PO Owner field, where could we find this in PO or in any table.

2) Is that updated manually in the SAP, or there is any process to automate the user if the Owner of the PO leaves the company

3) Will there be any impact to the PO or approval process, if the Owner of the PO leaves the company. Does it requires any manual activity to assign to the different owner to complete the process?

Background, we are working on a project to automate the Owner leaves and to automatically assign this to different owner.

Any links to under the process how it works in SAP, would be great helpful.
