There is no support for real J2ME development in NetWeaver. If I am developing some application where J2ME is part of it, i'm using Eclipse (http://www.eclipse.org) with EclipseME plugin (http://www.eclipseme.org) for J2ME part of development and Sun WTK emulator for testing (http://java.sun.com/products/sjwtoolkit/).

You usually want to connect in some way with your SAP server from J2ME application. You could use plain HTTP requests (supported out of-the-box by J2ME specification), but you could also use WebServices-based communication (supported only by never mobile phones, for all other you may use kSOAP2 library - http://kobjects.sourceforge.net/ksoap2/ ).

    Kind regards,

There is real support for J2ME in netweaver as such.

In case you intend to connest to the SAP, use eclipse with J2ME plugin fo develpoment and test your application using Sun wireless toolkit 2.1.

You can make HTTP request to your webserver and then use JCO to connect to your SAP System.

You can also use WebServices to conect to SAP.

I have worked on the first one.

In case you want more information, we can use this thread for communication.

    Regards,

    Tanveer.
