How in the world do I get support packs for my licensed CR2016? I have just spent most of an hour going around in circles using my P-user (whatever that is!) login. I am a one-person IT consulting business that needs Crystal , so I of course have no "administrator". Even the links that claim to direct me to the page where I can determine my administrator just run me around in more circles.
Of course, I have no interest in jumping through hoops just to get access to downloads. No, I am not interested in certification; there is a reason I am doing this at 11:00 at night while still working, and it is not that my life is lacking some certification in order to be in high demand that someone may dream will come with that phantom certification. In fact, I can just go to the trial download and get the latest CR2016 (SP08?), then uninstall what I have and install that using my existing CR2016 license--presumably. But I have never seen such an arcane system of attempting to get service/support packs for software in my life.
From what I can tell so far, the entire setup is aiming at exactly one thing: keeping me from doing my work efficiently. Anyone care to correct me? I will gladly eat my words if someone can just point me to where I can actually get the latest SP so I can be sure that the problem I originally came here to ask about (OLE object not appearing in CR2016SP2 on one Win10 station, while it does on Win7 with CR2016SP2 and on Win10 with CR2016SP5) is not due to me not being sufficiently patched.
