Hello Every Body

I am encountring a problem in my NDS. I am not trying to delete anything and havent deleted also.

I have written and commented few lines of code.

Has any body encountered this situation in NDS.

The Problem Description is

<b>"The project was not built due to "Problems encountered while deleting resources.". Fix the problem, then try refreshing this project and rebuilding it since it may be inconsistent."</b>

Hi Krishna

1. I encountered this problem when in the process of deleting a Component while logging in DTR, connection is lost (Network) with the DTR for a second which lead to inconsistencies.

I tried to repair the project, it succeeds for that time but at a later time during further development it caused problems due to this. As a result I have to discard the DC altogether.

Better, if you have not done much work, Create a new DC and start working

2. As VS mentioned just for curiosity I accessed the generated file properties thru Windows Explorer - that corrupts my entire DC

Also to solve the problem you can Sync the latest copy in DTR with your local copy and try to Rebuild it.

This happens to me to when I open folders for WD generated files in some other program, like file manager. Just left this folders and build should work: folders are anything beyond "gen_wdp" and gen_ddic" in your project directory.

Wanted to know now what should i do for the error to be removed and can i checkin my component into the JDI without any problem.

Well, I said it in my original post: just make sure that no other application besides NW IDE access generated folders "gen_ddic" and "gen_wdp"
