Migration Cockpit - Create / Update using same migration object

Hello All,

i am trying to create/update document info record using the same template ..i have created customize function module where i am calling standard BAPI ( BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE / BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2) and created Migration Object in LTMOM.

When i upload template for the new record in LTMC no issues , but for the same document to update material i am getting warning in LTMC as "Already transferred to target system".

Can anyone help me to navigate to right direction to achive this situation ?

Dear, Could you share the created object?

Because I'm trying to create and it returns the following message:

• Class type 017: Class does not exist
• Message no. CL503

Using the SE37 everything works fine

Hi,

One thing to be aware while updating the already processed records is Migration Cockpit keeps a record of the key of records to prevent duplicated key being import again.

So you need to clear the records using report DMC_FM_RESTART_COPY_DELETE in se38.

Refer the SAP KBA 2609827 for the details.

Alternatively, what you can do is, you can maintain two projects.. one project for the Create scenarios, and another project for update scenarios.
