Queries related to HANA ODBC and MII ODBC adapters in HANA cloud platform

Hello Everyone,

I am using trial version of HANA cloud platform.

And I have created one database launched SAP HANA Web-based Cevelopment Workbench: Catalog.

While creating new RemoteSource,there are multiple adapters available like HANA(ODBC),MII(Generic ODBC).

Can any one confirm me whether I can use these MII (Generic ODBC) and HANA(ODBC) adapters to retrieve MII data to HANA cloud platform(Trail version).?

If not how can I utilize these adapters ?

I have tried by providing SDA connector details of MII but its throwing below error msg as For HANA(ODBC) adapter:

(Catalog) Error reading Remote Object: InternalError: dberror(CallableStatement.execute): 403 - internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: [SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB SO][HDBODBC] Communication link failure;-10709 Connection failed (RTE:[89001] Cannot resolve host name '<hostanme>' rc=-2: Name or service not known (hostname))

For MII(ODBC) adapter:

(Catalog) Error reading Remote Object: InternalError: dberror(CallableStatement.execute): 403 - internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: [SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB SO][HDBODBC] Communication link failure;-10709 Connect failed (no reachable host left).

Please help.

Hi Rajee,

SDA is not support on HCP.

Hi Rajee,

You really cannot at SAP Cloud platform. How can you add these remote sources on our platform if we do not allow OS access?
