SAC Data Repository using live data from HANA cloud Platform (SAPCP).- Smart predictive

Hi community.

I'm triying to use the smart predict of Sap Analytics cloud, but i have a problem with connection live data. The documentation says tha i have to create a Data repository for create a dataset. but all examples are using HANA on premise with Sap cloud connector, in my case i'm using SAPCP ( Hana Cloud platform), is possible to create a data repository for create a dataset using this type of SAPCP ( Hana Cloud platform) connection? the objective is use smart predict to generate predictions on live data but this live data is obtain with SAPCP(Hana cloud Platform).

    Yamit, SAP Cloud Platform is just platform, not a source of data by itself. You can find connection guides at

    • Hi Witalij. maybe it doesn't explain me well, the data are hosted in hana db but cloud( sap cp). the connection between Sap analytics cloud and hana db use a SAP CP connection type(Live data). the problem is that I can't create a dataset using this connection type, for smart predict tool.

      when i try to create the dataset, the form does not have the fields to create it with live data connection using HANA-HCP
