Can't change country of origin on items via DI API

It seems like we are unable to change country of origin on items using DI API. I am pretty sure this is a problem with the DI API and not my code as the code worked previously and if I try to update an invalid value like "de" instead of "DE" I get an error on update. When I update valid value like "DE" it doesn't give any error on update, but the value does not change in the database.

Anyone else having this kind of problem?

We are using Sap Business One, version for SAP HANA 10.0 PL2.
