SAP BI 4.2 Sp8 Client tool upgrade issues

Dear All,

We have got recently upgaded from SAP BI 4.2 Sp 2 to SAP BI 4.2 SP8.

Now we are able to login into the SAP BI launchpad and CMC successfully.

But there are some issues in WEbi rich client tools and IDT.

Rich client shows login failed

IDT Error:

Failed to log on host "@LTEABOJCDQA:6400", user "Bi_3156", Internal error.

Cause of Error
Internal error. Do we need to upgrade the client tolls also with the same Service pack as in server level.Please help in this regards.ThanksAfzal

Yes, your client tools have to be on the same SP level as your server.

Do we need to take care of patches also now for client installations.
