Updating Execution Status for freight booking event handler

Dear Experts ,

I have scenario where the last event for freight booking for 2 scenarios is different.I am using same freight booking type.And limitation is i can only assign 1 event at freight booking type config to mark at Last Event.

I have currently marked the last event for freight booking as arrives destination port , however for the cases shipment has to be delivered till customer the execution status gets updated to "Executed" when it arrives at destination port instead of arrival at customer(last event)

Current System Behavior

Scenario 1 : departs source port(execution status - in execution) > arrives destination port (execution status - executed)[Last Event]

Scenario 2 : departs source port (execution status - in execution)> arrives destination port (execution status - executed)> arrival at customer [Last Event]

Required Execution Status :

Scenario 1 : departs source port(execution status - in execution) > arrives destination port (execution status - executed)[Last Event]

Scenario 2 : departs source port (execution status - in execution)> arrives destination port (no change/in execution)> arrival at customer [Last Event] (execution status - executed)

Kindly help how this can be achieved.If there is some badi that can be used in TM to update this execution status or another way around. I somehow cannot keep same event as last for both the scenarios .
