SAP BW real and SAP BW embedded on the same SAP Enterprise portal

Hi

We are Bex queries on the top of SAP BW 7.4 (real) and operational BEx queries out of BW embedded (SAP BW instance activated within SAP ECC.

We would like to place BEX queries out of BW embedded on the SAP enterprise portal. Does anybody know whether SAP portal support two BW instances (BW real and BW embedded).

How to produce URL out of BW embedded, what are the tips and tricks and configuration steps?

Hi Aleksandrs,

I believe that the BEX content in the portal points to a System Object.

If that is true, then you should be able to create a second System Object, pointing to a different BW system. After creating the new System Object, a copy of the BEX content in the portal will have to be created and the system property changed to the new System Object.
