Hi badr_01,

The password validity is based on the security policy(Maximum password Validity field) assigned to the Business user.

To have a unlimited validity of password follow the below steps
1.Create a new security policy, Path: Admin-->Common Task-->Edit Security Policy. -->New. Fill all the fields as per your requirement.
2. Don't maintain any value for the Field " Maximum Password Validity"(Blank is equal to unlimited)

3. Assign the newly created security policy to the specific user.

Hi,

You can maintain the validity of the password in the Security Policy assigned to the user.

Example : For the Standard Security Policy S_BUSINESS_USER, the validity of the password is 90 days. Since the standard policies cannot be changed, You can create your own custom security policies and assign to the users.

You can check the Security Policies in your system using the below steps:

1. Go to Administrator Work center -> Business Users.

2. Select any business user and click Edit -> Attributes

3. In the next screen, you can see a field called Security Policy.

4. Click View Details button. Select a particular Security Policy to check the validity of the password under System Password Validity section.

5. Click Add Row if you want to create your own custom policy and define password validity according to your requirement.

Palani.

Hi,

You can define these settings in "Security Policy" for a business user.

You can view security policy by navigating to business User. Search for the field "Security Policy" and click on "View Details".

In order to update the settings, you can navigate to Fine tuning activities, Search for "Security Policies" and maintain the required settings.

In the section "system Password Validity", you can get/maintain the days for the validity of the user password.

Thanks,

Gayatri
