SAP ASE Single DB with Multi Schemas

Hi,

We are planning for oracle(MCOD) to Sybase (ASE16) migration using the classical export/import method. In distributed landscape SRM ABAP has been completed.

Source SID: DR1 - ABAP schema

Source SID: DR0 - JAVA schema

/sybase/DR1 for ABAP and its schema(SAPSR3) is running.

Now Is it possible to use the same ASE database for JAVA import(SAPSR3DB)? when I try to import target JAVA DB, SWPM is creating new /sybase/DR0 with separate DB.

1811976 - SYB Multiple ASE instances on the same host. Based on this note which is updated long ago and would like to know if that applies for the latest ASE version.

Your input is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Vijay.
