500 Internal Server Error SAP portal issue

Hi experts,

I would like to ask you for help with sap portal issue.

When I open the irj portal, I get a 500 internal server error.

I checked the RFC, certificates, users, connections, parameters in DEFAUPT.PFL and CentralInstance.PFL ... etc.

This system was installed with the export / as a copy of the system / I compared both systems and I can't find any difference.

Where could be the problem?

Hi Miriama,

500 Internal error is very common and occurs for many reasons. It would be helpful to suggest if you share the error it shows default trace.

If the issue is isolated to the Internet Explorer web browser, it is probably a document mode issue. I would recommend switching to the AJAX standards Framework Page which will sort it, Note ##2311707 - How to set Portal to run in Standards Edge document mode [VIDEO]

1. Have you tried in different browser?

2. Refer the SAP note 1816543 to enable httpwatch trace.
