Adding text field in MDG UI without making changes to DATA Model.

Hello All,

We would need to Add a text field next to the WKRST (Basic Material) in the MDG UI. the Basic material is number is in MARA table with the description. We just need to display the description no need to edit/save back to database.

Please do let us know the steps to accomplish this requirement

Thank-you for the response. Just to clarify my question

The Basic material is number(235434...) is in MARA table with the description. We just need to display the description

(Ex:Coffe Powder) of the material beside the basic material field in display mode.

Hello

You can add the normal Text field from the UI using customizing or enhancement. Write the logic to populate the field inside the corresponding feeder class.

Hi, didn't fully understand the requirement, but

contains document "MDG-M User Interface (EhP6 on)".

Maybe chapter 5 contains the information you are looking for.
