I've two questions, how business area wise splitting take place at the time of gr and ir and how profit center and business is triggered from sd side for document splitting.
The profit center for a line item for inventory GL is determined from Material master and is updated in the offset line item based on inheritance. The business area is determined based on assignment of Business Area to Plant/valuation area and division in IMG, unless you have your own custom logic.
