SAP GTS - Configured USMCA in parallel with NAFTA; need to separate LTVDs by FTA.

Team,

In our GTS Dev client, I configured a "new" Legal Reg. for USMCA because my business team said they need to keep this separate from NAFTA, so they can keep both FTA's independent of each other

I did the below config steps; while I am still waiting to get the USMCA Rule file from Descartes, I tested the Vendor LTVD Request under the new Admin Unit, While it correctly generates the LTVD request for the new Legal Regulation, it automatically includes NAFTA request in the same LTVD as well....Likewise, if I try a LTVD request for NAFTA, it automatically includes USMCA in the same request ...Anyone had similar experience? What should be done to generate separate LTVD requests for each agreement?? Thanks in advance,

  • 1.Define Legal Regulation (ZUSMC)
  • 2.Assign LR to Country/Country Grp level (_DCAMXUS)
  • 3.Activate Preference Agreement for import/export(option 4 -including domestic)
  • 4.Define Rule Set (Z_USMCA_US)
  • 5.Assign Preference Agreement to Rule Set
  • 6.Assign Price Types to Agreements for Determination (Pref CM = 2, 3, 4, 5)
  • 7.Assign Schema for Pref indicators (SCHEME-A)
  • 8.Define Admin Unit (ADMU_USMCA)
  • 9.Define Cross-Plant Grp (USMCA_PG)
  • 10.Define Admin Unit Attributes
  • 11.Define Std Text and Logo for printing docs
  • 12.Control settings for vendor based LTVDs
