Could you please share how the MAPE is calculated in the time series smart predictive?
Also can we alter the MAPE calculation? i.e. be done throughout the full time series or calculation with cross validation or does it report MAPE on a period of hold out data only? Like, if you have monthly data from 2016-2019, can you do out of sample estimates throughout that time period?

To add to my previous answer, what you can do with Smart Predict is the following. Assume you have data from 2014 to 2019. You can use 2014 to 2018 as your data foundation to train the model, predict on 2019 and compare with actuals. Maybe this relates to your second question.
