Dear All,

To cancel the GRN I reverse the consumption after reverse consumption stock was showing in the system as per my reversed entry. That's okay till here. next, I try to cancel the GRN but not canceling. then I removed the stock from the system which was shown after my reversed consumption. I did it without canceling the GRN...Now stock is zero !! Now I want to stock back that was shown after my canceled the material consumption..How does it? pls suggest

Hello saffoo

You need to reverse the posting you've made in step no. 5. Just use MIGO to cancel the material document posted in this step.

3a9e4ce873a94034b33dc62b0ce600ee Sir,

(First) I post receipt goods through MIGO. code (2) I consumed the material through MIGO(3) I Cancel the consumed stock to back the material in stock through MIGO (4) after that I checked material was showing in stock through MBBS Code. (5) and unfortunately, I cancel the showing stock through the material document with the MIGO code. Now the stock is showing zero I want that stock back. (To cancel the stock I didn't use the GRN material Document No. Due to this GRN is still pending to cancel due to zero stock and while I cancel the GRN showing an error Shortfall below the specified stock level or quantity amounting to 22,780- KG: 000000001000001200.

Hello saffoo

You said: I removed the stock from the system - you can't just remove stock from the system. You need to post a material document to decrease stock, either directly in MIGO transaction or with physical inventory process. So to cancel this removal i.e. to bring the stock back you need to cancel the material document that removed the stock. Therefore depending how you have removed to stock either cancel the material document with MIGO or perform physical inventory process again providing the right amount of stock during counting.
