Receiving office is mandatory to maintain the supply chain unit in S4 HANA EWM

If we do not maintain the RO in the supply chain unit we are getting the below issue.

once we complete the inbound delivery in VL31N it will distribute to the EWM system automatically. If it is not distributing to EWM if we get below issue.

Error :- Inbound Errors we find through SMQ2 T code.

Maintain Receiving Office (RO) in SCU :- SAP Easy access menu – SCM extended warehouse management – Extended warehouse management – master data – T code - /SCWM/SCUMAIN – Maintain supply chain unit.

Specify the supply chain unit and Type 1008 and click the change button. in the alternative tab page in the business attributes maintain RO (Receiving office).

Once we maintain the RO in SCU inbound delivery data will distribute to EWM system successfully

Hello Venkata,

Check these EWM customizing settings in SPRO transaction:

"Extended Warehouse Management -> Cross-Process Settings -> Delivery - Warehouse Request -> Incompleteness Check -> Define Incompleteness Profiles", select the ICC profile and set the field ORGUNITNO_RO_H to inactive.

This should allow the delivery creation when no receiving office has been supplied.

Dear Pablo,

You are correct when RO is an inactive mode. If RO is an active mode then if we get that above issue we need to maintain RO in SCU.
