Data Total vs. Used Total vs. Data Utilized Total in DBACOCKPIT

Hi all,

i am wondering what is the difference between the several space used informations in dbacockpit. I checked the documentation and did some test with enable/disable compression and reorg rebuild. But i was not able to get what exactly is the definition and also the difference of the following key figures:

  • Reserved Total
  • Used Total
  • Data Total
  • Data Utilized Total

Here are two screenshot of one of our systems from dbacockpit:

table EDID4:

table AGR_HIERT:

it is not clear to me why the "Data Utilized Total" differs so much to "Used Total". For one table it is much smaller and for the other table it is much larger.

Does anybody have a good/detailed definition of the different key figures?

Thanks and best regards

Thomas
