SAP SLD API: Can I use the SLD API to register a Presentation Server?

I am looking to automate tasks regarding our deployment of presentation servers. The first step would be to use the SAP SLD API to automate registering the presentation server. That is to say, I want to do what the below image demonstrates but using the API instead of the GUI. Is this possible? I looked through the SAP SLD API guide and while I seen a section on Monitoring the Presentation servers, I did not see anything relating to registering them. Does the API support what I need?
