Importing a view to powerdesigner using Import Excel

I am trying to import views to a powerdesigner model using the excel import. I can get the view(s) to show but the columns are empty.

This shows the views were created.

This shows that the columns weren't created. I am not sure what I am missing in the import field to get the columns to create.

It would help if I can get this solved, so I won't have to manually create the SQL and alias all the columns.

Thanks!

Views are a bit different from other objects - you can't add columns to them directly, they're added by parsing the SQL Queries (according to the Help).

You could try constructing the Query SQL in Excel using a Formula, then importing a Query owned by the View.
